To celebrate the much-anticipated launch of Keeping Faith series two (which airs on S4C on 12th May and on BBC1 in early summer 2019) the county of Carmarthenshire in South West Wales has launched an online Keeping Faith Superfan Trail, offering die-hard fans the chance to follow in Faith’s footsteps.

The new Keeping Faith Superfan Trail is a handy resource for fans looking to experience for themselves the places where Eve Myles, the female lead in the Welsh thriller, plays Faith in the fictional town of Abercorran (aka Laugharne) in the county. Once home to Dylan Thomas, this small town makes a beautiful backdrop for all, not least diehard fans, who may enjoy donning Faith’s trademark yellow mac and snapping a selfie!

It enables fans to take in Laugharne’s castle and high street, both featured highly in Keeping Faith, along with the seven miles of beach at Pendine Sands (where Faith spends a great deal of her time staring out to sea) as well as her home, with its terrace, which overlooks the estuary, located in a peaceful cul-de-sac within walking distance from the town centre. Also, Faith’s court scenes are played at the historic Guildhall in Carmarthen, and she is often pictured in the town’s main square, too. Plus, series two takes in Llansteffan, a new location in Carmarthenshire, beside the Towy estuary, with its splendid Norman castle and knock-out beach, all included in the trail.
